2. Tell us what you do
The first time you sign in, TenderDesk asks how you'd like to set up. Pick one:
Answer 8 quick questions (recommended, about 2 minutes)
The kind of work you do, what you specialise in, what you don't do, where you work, your usual project size, turnover, registrations (MSME, GST, GeM seller…) and past work. The AI turns this into your business profile and starts picking tenders for you. Change it any time from ☰ → My business profile.
Quick setup (3 taps)
Pick your kind of work, your states and your usual amount. You can refine it later from ☰ → Edit what I do.
3. The four folders
| Folder | What it shows |
|---|---|
| My feed | Open tenders that match what you told us, with a short morning summary: new since yesterday, closing this week. |
| Explore all | Every open tender we have, from government portals, PSUs and private companies. |
| Big projects | Tenders worth ₹5 crore or more. Pro and Business plans get a ready-made brief on each. |
| My bids | The tenders you marked I'm interested, each with a checklist and reminders. |
4. Search and filter
The filters read like a sentence: "Show me any kind of work in all of India worth any amount closing any time". Tap any underlined part to change it.
- Kind of work: roads and buildings, electrical, IT, medical, manpower and more.
- Where: one or more states, or Central govt & PSUs, Defence, GeM marketplace or Private companies (Tata Power, Adani Electricity, Vedanta, IGL and others). Leave it on "all of India" to see everything together.
- Amount: from under ₹10 lakh to over ₹50 crore.
- Closing: this week, this month, and so on.
- Any word: type a keyword such as CCTV, solar or road repair. Hindi words work too.
Sort the list by newest, closing soonest or biggest value. On Starter and above, ⤓ Excel downloads the list you are looking at.
5. Open a tender
Tap any tender to open its file. You'll see:
- The value, the EMD (the deposit you pay to bid, returned if you don't win) and any tender fee.
- All the dates: pre-bid meeting, closing, bid opening.
- Explain this tender: a plain explanation in English, हिंदी, தமிழ், ಕನ್ನಡ, తెలుగు, മലയാളം, मराठी or বাংলা.
- Underlined words (EMD, DSC, corrigendum…) explain themselves when you tap them.
- The link to the official portal, where you download the documents and submit your bid.
- Ask for help if you want us to help you bid.
6. Track a bid
- On a tender, press ★ I'm interested — give me a checklist.
- It moves to My bids with a checklist built from its real dates: download documents, check eligibility, pay EMD, attend the pre-bid meeting, submit.
- Tick steps as you go and move it along: interested → preparing → submitted.
- We email you before each deadline, and straight away if the department changes the closing date.
7. AI picks
If you answered the business questions, AI picks appear above the list: the tenders that fit you best, each with the reason ("road work in Pune, your usual size") and any warning ("₹8 crore is well above your usual job size"). Press 👍 or 👎 and the picks get better. The AI only sees your business details and public tender facts, never your name, email or phone number.
8. The morning email
Around 8 a.m. every day we email you new tenders from your feed, your AI picks, and reminders for the bids you are tracking. It is on for Starter, Pro and Business (and during the free trial). Change the address or turn it off from ☰ → Morning email alerts.
9. Plans
| Plan | Price | Main things you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | ₹0 | Search everything, a feed with 1 kind of work and 3 places, track 5 bids, explain 2 tenders a day |
| Starter | ₹599/month | Morning email, track 25 bids, explain 10 a day, Excel export |

Yearly plans cost less. To upgrade, open ☰ → Plans & upgrade.
10. Help, requests and tips
- ☰ → Request a tender source: tell us a company, department, state or kind of work you'd like us to cover.
- ☰ → Contact us: questions, help with a bid, or upgrades. We usually reply within a day.
- ☰ → How TenderDesk works: a short explanation plus a glossary of tender words.
Before you bid
- Always check the documents and any corrigendum on the official portal. TenderDesk helps you find and understand tenders, but the portal is the final word.
- Most portals need a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) and a one-time registration. Get these ready early.
- Read the eligibility rules (turnover, past work, registrations) before paying the EMD.
